Driving to the Alsace region through Franche-Comté was a real joy with superb scenery

Stopping canal side at Montreux Chateau for two nights we take to the cycle path that follows the canal to Mullhouse

This was our longest ride yet on the monster bikes clocking up 71km for the day's trip
Quite sore and very sweaty
After three trips in to the local village, Pete (the hunter-gatherer) returns with well deserved Pizza which we still talked about days after….
