Next day we take a stroll in to Donaueschingen and the town is alive with what appears to be the annual fete
The kids here bring their speed machines, pay an entry fee, and slalom against the clock
This must be the WI of Germany at work on mass food production...

Stalls a plenty selling mainly Bratwurst, Pretzels and of course endless beer by the jug full
There was a very long queue behind this guy who was dishing out goulaschsuppe, one of my personal favourites
No huge UK-like taxes here
Mickey is born…..
This was great fun, making a mess of a simple job but it came out OK in the end
Reminds me of spray painting my Ford Capri all those years ago!
Mickey is in place atop the van and whilst it still looks like it should not be there, it blends in better with the rest of the van which I suppose is a result
