Descending to the coast and with the onset of bad weather we pull up at Portimão and the marina at Praia da Rocha

Alvor…in the rain
After a second day of mixed weather we move on to Alvor via a coffee stop at the local Repsol garage in Portimão. This was because the heavens opened just as I was filling up with LPG and the garage suffered a power cut so the pumps were out of order. Time for coffee and a chill pill…
After such excellent weather recently Nina was getting quite irritated with the downpours so it was with relief we woke next day to a welcome change and the relief on the local restauranteurs' faces was evident. No sun, no pay, simples...
The clouds hung around behind the town but we got away with some beach walking finally

These are now part of our daily 'fitness regime', that is walking briskly to the nearest cafe
