A few days on and we revisit Bellersen for 3 nights as we love this place
Great cycle routes, very private uncrowded Stellplatz, and a very friendly family run Bistro not 50m away that serve up great food and even better liquid refreshment!
After having joked with Wallburga and her daughter Elisabeth last week about me missing my mums cooking from years ago, especially Kartoffelpuffer, german pancakes made with potato/onion, imagine our joint surprise when I knocked on her door a week later on our return trip to find her making them at that moment.
2 minutes later and after much malarky I was sprinting for the van with loads of them freshly cooked for our lunch....result!
