After recent social merriment we retreat to the seclusion of Camping Milfontes to recharge our batteries and nurse my stiff neck which has had a relapse.
This is done in glorious sunshine and we just chill……
Heaven..
The town is really nice and looks a good place to live with lots of leisure activities for the locals and tourists alike
The town centre is undergoing a radical makeover with most streets similar to this one. The cobble laying is a work of art, like giant mosaics
Yes a 'beach house' would go down nicely as a second home
Northwards up the coast to Comporta, a village we'd not overnighted at before but really nice with a disproportionate amount of restaurants, all overseen by these guys
We take the half hour walk to the local beach passing the lagoons
Snapdragon says Nina..
We discover a beach restaurant with a superb view of the Atlantic
So its cocktail time!
Walking back to town we drop in to a favourite pizza parlour to stuff ourselves royally..
We have Deb to blame for this..
Nina has taken up cross-stitching and I am relegated to making tea for the newly obsessed crafter
Not bad for a first effort me thinks but then am told 'Its not finished yet!'
