La Azohia & Aguilas

The weather turns unsettled and we head southwards down to Cartagena for a couple of nights

Just back from the modern centre lies a little of suburbia with streets not so desirable I have to say
This facade is awaiting a whole new carcass of a building

The city centre coffees prove artistic and delicious to boot...

One of many Spanish variations on coffee

Time to move on to La Azohia and what turns out to be a very pleasant four night wild camping spot next the sea

Day one relaxation

Sunset boulevard...

The local Pizza place is given another visit and a huge 16" specimen hoves in to view

The view from the terrace

Max is pressed in to action on a couple of days visiting nearby, and almost deserted, Puerto de Mazarron

Back at La Azohia the dominating promontory is walked and a visit paid to the Torre at its top

The Torre

Some very narrow and steep stairs

Whatsapps reveal that Chris & Keith are at Playa La Carolina and we join them for three days of walking, cycling and boy fun

The fire pit bought before our departure from Blighty proves a big success with the 'twisted fire starters (a slight role reversal there..)

Spicy Gambas anyone?

G & T girls

Baywatch...

Our particular bay

Keith & Chris's moonlight view

Next night and just as beautiful
