Gorinchem

Our last port of call this trip is Gorinchem
This very cold venue is ideal for us as its not too far to the ferry tomorrow at the Hook of Holland

Our intention is to use the day cycling as normal but its bitterly cold at 1degree C and feels much colder
So its off to the town for more shopping and light refreshment..

The nearest we got to cycling...

The emporium on the right of this fine building turned out to be a very warm bar……fancy that!

More 'Bock' sat at the bar

Loads of atmos here but strangely few people
Well it was late afternoon and the shops were still bustling. The chefs were hard at work though preparing the evening feast

Brits on tour….

These kind of places leave us with the desire to just be able to beam up our chums for the day

One of several 'light bulb' moments….

Ferry tomorrow and back to the UK for a month or so…

Loose plan now is (and watch it all go pear-shaped) to head down south to Portugal again early January in search of sun and perhaps do Morocco this time…..
